Which do you prefer for skincare/cosmetics?

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

I personally like Arbonne products better because of their "going green" and all natural products. I've also heard that Arbonne just filed bankruptcy, and I know they are continuing to do business, but that may be something you want to talk with your sponsor about. I've not tried Mia Bella products, but I have friends who rave about the great line of mineral make up they have. And the market for their products may not be as saturated as the market for Mary Kay, Arbonne, Avon. My suggestion would be to listen to your heart and make sure you have an upline you enjoy working with that is helping you & giving you tools to succeed! You may also want to look into Send Out Cards, it will not only make your business easier for you but it will also help you increase your profit by automating follow ups for outside orders, bookings, and recruiting. And if you're a busy woman, it will save you time, hassle and money! :) I use it for my MLM businesses and it's amazing. You can send a card and try it out for free. www.seandoutcards.com/cheerfulcardsBest of luck with your new business! :D Source(s): Mia Bella Beauty – http://www.jatinajohnson.scent-team.com/… 2 years ago Thank you for your insight!Error processing request

What is the average salary of a medical biller?

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

Please beware that there aren't supposed to be too many jobs for the medical biller (or coder or medical assistant) despite what those private $$ tech schools say. A lot of billing companies are outsourcing to Asia/India leaving jobs more scarce. With the numerous available training programs, that is causing the the job market saturated too.If still interested in training, please opt for the more affordable county vo-tech school or community college as long as it's accredited within the industry. For general career info about billing: http://www.bls.gov/oco and can search 'billing clerks' or whatever other career that piques one's interest. 2 years ago That is what I thought. Thank you so much. I was just wondering because I was looking to get an AA degree in something.

Are we losing yet more dominion over our own minds and bodies? Is Evil winning?

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

Yes, but we have for years and years, and now it's a foregone conclusion: the government will choose what you eat, drink, ingest for health reasons, and if you violate these government rules, you'll have to go to a "camp" and be reeducated. What will you do when you have to get a prescription for Vitamin C? Honestly, probably nothing. In the last 150 years our choices and freedoms have been severely curtailed, and no one seems to mind. Take the civil rights violation we've all had to endure: the urine drug test. It's humiliating and unnecessary, but it's politically expedient. 4 years ago 2 people rated this as good I wonder if no one minds – but our collective silence is concerning. In addition to the items you've mentioned, pay careful attention to those imposed vaccinations for your children…. TY for giving my question a serious answer. Be Well.

Bad grades?

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

About your grades: Those grades are pretty good, just to tell you though that grades don't start counting for college until 9th grade. Here's how it works, from pre school to 8th grade you have a permanent record. This goes away in 9th grade. Then you get a transcript which is what colleges look at. So tell your dad it doesn't matter. About switching schools: Going to an all girls school is pretty harsh. Because one day you are going to go to college and be like Oh my gosh! There are boys here! And it would be completely different. Also boys think in a completely different way than girls do. How are you suppose to go into the real world of co-ed jobs and colleges when you have never worked with boys before? It would be pretty tough. And the two tests per day isn't too tough. Wait till you get to the 11th grade! Tell your dad what I said here and have him consider it. Tell him you want to try out a different private school because you just aren't loving the one you are currently at. Hope I helped some! =)~Maria age 17 4 years ago Thanks for the advice. Girls schools ARE harsh. Everyone is very bitchy.I don't think it will be quite like "oh my God, boys!" but I agree, we don't know how to interact with boys as well.

What three sources of energy provide a hope for the future? Why?

Wednesday, February 22nd, 2012

- Chosen by Voters Nuclear fusion seems very good, because it's clean and generates extreme amounts of power. There haven't so far been any successful attempts to actually get a positive energetic balance out of it. The reaction however can be sustained and controlled, which lets us be quite optimistic.Solar energy is fine, but despite much improved performance lately, production of better panels usually takes a lot of both energy and toxic substances. It's not very environmentally friendly therefore. And there's of course plethora of other sources which seem decent (water/wind, with high cost per unit of energy), geothermal (good, but requires specific locations). My personal opinion though is that fusion is the way to go. 2 years ago 100% 1 Vote

How related is molecular and cell biology to medical physics?

Tuesday, February 21st, 2012

Usually, medical physics graduate programs look for physics graduates (or students with a strong background in physics/math) with an interest in using physical techniques in medicine (such as imaging and radiology). Medical Physics is therefore, essentially, a branch of physics, rather than a biological field. That being said, YES, a background in molecular and cell biology will be useful for a medical physicist, but a background in physics is VITAL.To answer your questions, molecular and cell biology is NOT very closely related to medical physics, since the former deals with the functioning of a cell at a molecular level (DNA, chromatin, cell signaling, ion channels, etc.), while the latter deals with using quantitative methods (simulations, optics, etc.) to improve medical therapies. Therefore, while having a background in molecular and cellular biology would be useful (like a semester or two), the ideal major would be physics, engineering or mathematics. HOWEVER, that being said, there very well might be medical physics programs more suited towards your background. What I can advice you to do is use your friend Google to look at the program requirements for different med. physics programs (usually under the "Admissions" link), and see what they expect from potential students. Also, feel free to email particular faculty about your interest in their labs – you will get the best feedback from the faculty themselves.Good luck!EDIT: Based on your questions (and my presumption about your background and interests), have you considered molecular biophysics/structural biology programs? This direction might be more suited for a biologist looking to foray into the physical sciences. Source(s): I'm a physics graduate currently in grad school for neuroscience. 2 years ago Thanks
